Job Summary :
The Accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. This role involves preparing financial statements, budgeting, tax preparation, and supporting audits, while contributing to overall financial efficiency and accuracy of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and maintain financial reports, records, and general ledgers.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of transactions.
Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with government regulations.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and statements.
Recommend financial actions based on financial analysis.
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with ERP systems.
Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP).
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
