Test Automation Engineer

Role : Test Automation Engineer (Python Expertise)

Location : Mandaluyong, Robinsons Cybergate Tower 2

Duration : 6+ months

Mode : Hybrid

Transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation / contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Execute test cases and analyze results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience as Test Automation Engineer.
  • Expert proficiency in Python (writing clean, modular, and object-oriented code).
  • Hands-on experience with Robot Framework, including libraries like SeleniumLibrary, RequestsLibrary, etc.
  • Expertise in exception handling within Robot Framework and Python scripts.
  • Deep understanding of locator strategies – XPath, CSS Selectors, dynamic element identification, etc.
  • Experience in analyzing test failures and debugging issues efficiently.
  • Experience with Selenium.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and experience in test automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools.
  • Amenable to hybrid setup 2 days per week.
  • Open for 6 months project-based employment.

    • Good to have : Salesforce application background; Robot Framework usage; additional automation tools.

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (Required).
  • Experience in Test Automation Engineer role with Python language.

  • Work Setup : Hybrid
  • Office presence : 8x a month (2x per week)
