Logistics Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY :

The Logistics Supervisor is expected to lead a cost-efficient delivery operation without compromising the compliance to approved Service Level Agreement or Lead time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Orchestrates daily trips of Drivers, Helpers and Riders depending on the volume of deliverable.

2. Prepares request for delivery allowances and coordinates with Accounting Team.

3. Plans delivery schedule and routes in a most cost-efficient way possible.

4. Prepares schedules of Drivers, Riders and Helper.

5. Coordinates closely with Telemarketer for efficient and timely delivery of orders.

6. Coordinates with Procurement relative to stocks pick-up and delivery.

7. Coordinates closely with packing Team ensuring readiness of the commodities / orders for delivery and / or customers’ pick-up.

8. Oversee receiving of stocks and dispatching of deliveries.

9. Monitors and provides performance feedback to employees and identify performance challenges to be corrected and improved.

10. Ensures adherence to Land transportation and LGU’s traffic ordinance particularly on vehicle registration.

11. Immediately resolves arising issues within the area of supervision.

12. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.

13. Investigate and report any incidents or accidents in the logistics operations.

14. Do other tasks as maybe assigned by the immediate Head.

QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Graduate of any four-year course.

2. At least Three (3) years of relative experience.

3. Knowledgeable on Automotive spare parts and warehouse operations.

4. Strong analytical Skills.

5. Good business acumen.

6. Good interpersonal relationship.

7. High sense of initiatives to innovate processes and problem solving.

8. Ability to make critical decisions.

9. Time Management and Process Innovation, Leadership, Organizational Skills.

10. Computer literate.
