About the Role :

We’re looking for a hands-on Fullstack Tech Lead with strong backend development and AWS / DevOps experience to spearhead the technical foundation of a new payment platform. You’ll play a pivotal role in defining the architecture, guiding the technology choices, and establishing best-practice engineering standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the technical direction of a greenfield project, setting up AWS accounts, CI / CD pipelines, and implementing modern, scalable fullstack solutions.

Experience with payment systems or payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Adyen) and secure transaction processing will be highly valued, as you’ll help design and implement robust payment workflows and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Fullstack development with a strong focus on backend, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Design and implement the application architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
• Set up and manage AWS infrastructure, including environment provisioning, Identify and access management, networking, and monitoring.
• Establish CI / CD pipelines and ensure robust build, test, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate on technology decisions, particularly around backend stack (initially Node.js and TypeScript) and frameworks.
• Mentor and guide developers, conduct code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards.
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver features on time.
• Ensure best practices in security, testing, and DevOps automation are followed.
