FULL-TIME Preamble

Based in Makati (currently on a remote work set-up) and reporting to the Corporate Legal Counsel, the Junior Legal Associate will take part and be involved in business and legal practices in support of Penbrothers’ goals and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for drafting and reviewing service contracts and employment agreements of the company.
• Responsible for signature routing of contracts, agreements and other related documents
• Research different law updates and compliance with different statutory requirements (local and national laws and jurisprudence).
• Keep legal documents (such as contracts) organized and up to date in paper and/or electronic format.
• Provides assistance to the company’s Legal Counsel when needed (weekly or monthly update on ongoing/pending contracts for execution).
• Conduct investigation and analysis with regard to a wide range of legal matters.
• Liaise and provide support to various internal and external entities.
• Assistance collating and applying for corporate registrations.
• Other Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Corporate Legal Counsel.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of work experience in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.
• Highly proficient in oral & written communications, analytical, creative, with meticulous attention to details & very diligent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Platform (Google Sheets, Docs and Slides), and other.
• Must be able to function in a busy - team oriented environment.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
