Senior IOS Developer

The Job

The IOS Developer will be working with our IT Department. This is a key function for the group. You will be guided and supported by our dev group leader.

• Manage in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Manage the full technical life-cycle of iOS applications during the development phase.
• Collaborate with team members and provide technical insight as needed.
• Perform individual project components within the entire development life cycle, including implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Other duties assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has good knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI
• 7+ years of Experience working with native iOS Development and with different iOS variations
• Deep understanding of Apple design principles and interface guidelines
• Deep understanding of iOS/Swift memory management
• Strong knowledge of iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Understanding of SOLID principles
• Clean coding style with smokie tests
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Understanding of different security aspects (encryption, API protection, SSH, etc.)
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with Crashlitics and other Firebase services
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools. Understanding of Git branching models such as Git Flow and comfortable doing code reviews. Xcode Cloud CI/CD
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and appetite to learn.
• Able to work and deliver under pressure and within deadlines.
• Enjoy and thrive in a fast-moving start-up environment.
