Job Summary :
The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) is responsible for providing strategic leadership in all financial aspects of the organization. This includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, risk management, treasury, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. The CFO will partner with the executive management team to drive profitability, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Financial Management & Strategy
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate goals and objectives.
Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board to support sound financial decision-making.
Analyze and present financial performance, trends, and forecasts.
2. Accounting & Reporting
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Establish internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
3. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
Manage cash flow, investments, and financing activities.
Develop strategies for optimizing liquidity and minimizing financial risks.
Maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
4. Risk Management & Compliance
Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Ensure compliance with all local laws, tax regulations, and reporting standards.
Oversee corporate governance, internal audits, and financial policies.
5. Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance and Accounting teams.
Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other department heads to align financial management with operational goals.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license preferred.
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field is an advantage.
Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or treasury management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance.
Proficiency in financial management systems (e.g., ERP, NetSuite, SAP).
