Job descriptionBachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field. CPA is an advantage but not required. At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management. Strong knowledge of PH GAAP, taxation, and financial reporting standards. Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar). Hands-on, analytical, and eager to take on leadership responsibilities. Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with management.
Overview
We’re looking for a Finance Lead who’s ready to take the next big step in their career. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the full finance operations of a growing renewable energy company — managing end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and compliance while working directly with the management team.
If you’re currently a Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor seeking leadership exposure and strategic involvement, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP / AR, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other government requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks.
- Implement process improvements and internal controls for accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Mentor junior accounting staff as the department grows.
