About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and ordering materials and services.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, budget constraints, and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing records and reports.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Experience : Minimum 1 year in procurement or purchasing roles.Skills :o Strong negotiation and communication skills.
o Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software.
o Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Competencies : Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy.
