Software Engineer Officer

MAIN PURPOSE

OF THE JOB:

The main purpose of the Communications Solution Software Engineer role is to provide technical support and expertise for the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of OpenText Exstream and other communications software solutions. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure the successful deployment and ongoing support of OpenText Exstream and other comminications applications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provide technical support for the design, development, and implementation of OpenText Exstream and other Communications solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and provide effective solutions using OpenText Exstream and/or other supported Communications solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to OpenText Exstream and other Communications applications, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of OpenText Exstream and other communications solutions through proactive identification of enhancement opportunities.

Your Profile

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Working knowledge of XML, JSON, CSV, SMTP, File Management, and archiving
• Working knowledge of PDF and Postscript print streams
• Experience in Javascript, HTML, XSLT
• Good grasp of SQL Queries and database management
• Experience with Production support environment, responding to change requests, incidents, and task requests is a plus.
