This is a remote position.

Schedule :   Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM (Sydney Time)

Total Weekly Hours : 40 Hours

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to manage the full accounting cycle and provide essential financial and administrative support. The ideal candidate has proven bookkeeping experience, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to quickly adapt and contribute with minimal training.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities with accuracy and timeliness.

Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and reconciliations.

Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Prepare month-end close, financial statements, and variance analysis.

Support the full accounting cycle, from journal entries to reconciliations and reporting.

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations across departments.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the full accounting cycle.

Hands-on experience with payroll and month-end closing processes.

Proficiency (or willingness to learn) systems such as Xero, Guard House, Employment Hero, Zahara, Asana, Ariba, SAP, and ServiceM8.

High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
