We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Associate to support the daily operations of one of our holding companies, Raeos Energy Philippines Corporation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, compliance with tax regulations, and timely processing of financial transactions and reports.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax regulations, BIR documentation, and compliance procedures.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a strong advantage.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare Disbursement Vouchers and ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial claims.Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Tax Returns, including Expanded Withholding Taxes, VAT, and other tax-related filings in compliance with BIR regulations.Assist in the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and periodic reports, including posting Journal Entries in QuickBooks.Process requisitions and other business forms, ensuring that account balances are accurate and purchases are within approved limits.Manage manual account books as required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), issue official invoices, and oversee collections and payments.Maintain an accurate and up-to-date cashbook to ensure proper checks and balances for cash management.Oversee and manage the liquidation of Cash Advances, ensuring timely and complete documentation.Support internal and external audits, financial reviews, and tax preparation activities.Regularly update financial spreadsheets and internal reports to reflect current and accurate financial data.Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit readiness and regulatory compliance.Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned by the supervisor or management team.
