Cloud Engineer (Onsite)

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team in Manila. The role will focus on designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable, and efficient cloud infrastructure following the AWS Well-Architected Framework. You will work with both AWS and Azure services to support business-critical applications and ensure best practices in automation, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications and infrastructure using AWS and Azure services.

Implement solutions using AWS Lambda, Redshift, Azure SQL DB, Logic Apps, and App Services.

Automate deployments with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for consistency and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data protection standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-optimized.

Monitor and troubleshoot cloud applications to maintain high availability and performance.

Contribute to CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Must-Have Skills

Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Redshift, and AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services (SQL Database, Logic Apps, App Services).

Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar).

Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and governance.

Experience deploying and managing scalable, serverless, and data warehouse solutions.

Good-to-Have Skills

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps culture.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).

Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with cloud trends.

Qualifications & Experience

2–3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
