Inpatient Medical Coder

Responsibilities :

Review inpatient medical records and documentation to assign accurate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG codes.

Ensure compliance with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services), AHIMA, and AAPC coding guidelines.

Validate physician documentation to support assigned codes and query providers when necessary.

Work closely with billing, compliance, and healthcare teams to optimize reimbursement and minimize denials.

Keep up to date with coding changes, regulatory updates, and payer requirements.

Required Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Medical-related course

With recent medical coding experience in clinical / BPO / CPO set-up

With active Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) license

Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Notes :

This position will be working with global leader in Clinical Process Outsourcing,

Working Set-up : Onsite

Mondays to Fridays.
