Job description

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field and 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in testing concepts / standards & Agile methodology
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
  • Good understanding on Automation Testing concepts. The candidate should be able to implement automation strategy.
  • Hands-on experience authoring, building and adopting large-scale, automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, functional, API and back-end integration (including end-to-end automation) and experience with different test automation approaches
  • Experience in Selenium with Java / Python - Knowledge at scripting / coding level
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience and knowledge of Azure DevOps or any relevant defect management tool and CI / CD.
  • Proficiency managing / implementing Control Version xml and json knowledge are a plus Implement automation strategy and guide the team
  • Self –starter, with the flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, rapid change and diverse technologies.

  • Ability to understand and integrate with cultural differences and engage with virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams
  • Experience in supporting medium to high size complexities
  • Nice to have localization / translation testing experience as well as knowledge on performance testing concepts.

  • Experience in customer facing roles

Job Description

Generic JD :

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end design, development, and testing of applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize automation frameworks across UI, API, and backend integration layers.
  • Define and execute automation strategies to enhance testing efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery within Agile and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Manage and monitor test execution, defect tracking, and resolution using tools like Azure DevOps or equivalent.
  • Conduct database and data integrity testing, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across environments.
  • Drive quality initiatives by defining and tracking KPIs and metrics related to testing performance and delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members in test automation and development practices.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of development and testing processes, tools, and frameworks.
  • Support customer-facing activities by providing technical insights, issue resolution, and status reporting.
  • Adapt to evolving technologies and priorities in a fast-paced, global work environment.
