The Innovation Officer is responsible for leading the innovation program across Aboitiz Foods driving business and process improvements through ideation workshops and employee engagement. The role leads and executes innovation projects within plants and business units while also building innovation capabilities through coaching mentoring and training initiatives.
Innovation Project Management
- Collaborate with process owners to promote innovation participation and identify impactful projects
- Support the creation of business cases including risk and cost-benefit analyses to ensure project viability and success
- Facilitate access to innovation experimentation funding and oversee the execution of experimentation activities
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders on project status including task completion risk assessments issues encountered and proposed solutions
Innovation Program Management
Assist in identifying innovation opportunities aligned with business objectivesUnderstand business processes and gather requirements from key stakeholdersCollect and analyze data related to business or process challengesRecommend appropriate continuous improvement tools and methodologies to ensure project effectivenessLead the development and implementation of action plans to strengthen innovation managementSupport the identification of process risks mitigation strategies and key performance indicatorsCollaborate with idea originators to ensure successful implementation monitoring and control of innovation projectsLead the evaluation and documentation of project benefits post-implementationAssist in tollgate reviews with project teams sponsors and stakeholdersCoach and mentor members of the Innovation Task Force and conduct training sessions on the Innovation ProgramOther Responsibilities

Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Business or other Engineering-related coursesAt least 2 years of relevant work experience in program execution and managementPreferably with Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma CertificationProcess Oriented Process ThinkerGreat attention to detailsStrong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skillsHas strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and can work effectively and independently in a diverse workforceVery Collaborative and can communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing at all levels of the organizationAdditional Information :
