We are looking for a detail-oriented Design Coordinator to manage and maintain project documentation throughout the design phase. The ideal candidate for this role should be proficient in organizing technical documents and facilitating communication between design teams. This role is critical for ensuring design documentation is accurately tracked, updated, and accessible across all project stages.
What You’ll Do
- Upload design drawings, plans, and specifications into ProCore according to project requirements.
- Maintain consistency in saving documents within the established folder structure to ensure proper record keeping.
- Update and monitor the design comments register with input from team members and stakeholders.
- Record meeting minutes during design coordination meetings and ensure timely distribution to relevant parties.
- Coordinate with internal teams and consultants to track document submissions and revisions.
- Assist in tracking the design process and ensuring alignment with project milestones.
- Support the team by compiling and organizing design-related data and reports.
- Review drawings and specifications for completeness prior to distribution.
- Ensure version control across all shared documents and plans.
Requirements
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who :
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or a similar field is preferred.3+ years of experience in design coordination or related roles.Familiarity with the residential design process and associated documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other document management tools.Strong command of written and spoken English.Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Familiarity with ProCore and its functionalities is highly desirable.Experience working on design projects aligned with Australian regulatory, or industry standards is an advantage.Benefits
