Job Summary
The Video Editor is responsible for assembling raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content for marketing, promotional, training, and social media purposes. The role requires creativity, technical expertise, and strong storytelling skills to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into polished, professional final products.
Add effects, transitions, graphics, text overlays, music, and sound effects as needed.
Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to align videos with branding and campaign goals.
Organize and manage video files, ensuring proper archiving.
Maintain video quality and brand consistency across all outputs.
Stay updated with industry trends and new video editing tools.
Daily Tasks / Checklist
Review and organize raw footage.
Edit assigned projects and meet deadlines.
Add captions, effects, transitions, and sound enhancements.
Export and deliver videos in required formats and sizes.
Communicate with the creative team about revisions and updates.
Back up completed projects and maintain file organization.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Film, Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail.
Knowledge of audio editing and color correction.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Requirements
Experience with motion graphics and animation (Adobe After Effects or similar).
1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
Knowledge of digital marketing and social media video formats.
Basic understanding of photography and videography.
