GEMECO is a packaging company engaged in the manufacture of tin cans for infant dietetics, beverages, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, and other food products.

GEMECO’s customers include Angel Milk, Alaska Milk, 555 Sardines, Argentina Corned Beef, Century Tuna, Ligo Sardines, Purefoods Hormel - San Miguel, Swift, Virginia Foods, and Youngstown.

Responsibilities

Supervising installation and initial start-up of machines and equipment

Ensuring that all safety procedures are in place and followed by workers

Ensuring machine’s efficiency and good running condition at all times

Overseeing the implementation of processes and systems

Requirements

Candidate must be an Engineering graduate preferably in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical or its equivalent

Highly technical - knowledgeable in machineries, equipment and design. Able to read machine manuals and draw machine diagrams

With at least 5 years of experience in supervisory function

Team player, with good interpersonal skills and proper coordination

Shift system
