Job description

A front-end web developer with a background in creative design entails a unique blend of technical skills and artistic flair. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong foundation in web development and design principles, along with a passion for creating visually appealing and intuitive websites.

Job Responsibilities

Develop interactive, user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Translate design mockups and wireframes into responsive web pages

Collaborate with UI / UX designers to ensure seamless user experience

Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development and design

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
2–4 years of experience in front-end web development (
Portfolio showcasing past web development projects with creative design elements

Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other languages

Experience in CMS platforms such as WordPress, OpenText and Telligent

Experience in e-commerce platforms like Magento

Knowledge of effective SEO practices; experience with GTM and GA4 is an advantage

Strong grasp of design principles and typography

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software

Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap (more preferred) or Foundation is good to have

Additional Requirements

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
