General Description
A Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online marketing strategies to enhance a company's brand awareness, generate leads, and drive sales. This role involves leveraging various digital channels such as social media, search engines, email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising to achieve business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Website Audit & Optimization
- Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify technical and content-related issues.
- Recommend and implement necessary changes to improve user experience, performance, and search engine visibility.
- Monitor website health, ensuring it adheres to the latest industry standards and search engine guidelines.
Site & Marketing Strategy Recommendation
Provide strategic recommendations on improving site architecture, content hierarchy, and performance metrics.Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement integrated marketing strategies that align with business goals.Analyze competitors and industry trends to offer insights that refine digital marketing tactics.Content Creation and Management
Creating and editing videos to be used in marketing campaignsDevelop engaging content for blogs, social media, email campaigns, and websites.Ensure content aligns with SEO best practices for visibility.SEO and SEM
On-Page SEO : Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and site structure for better search engine rankings.Off-Page SEO : Develop strategies to enhance backlink profiles and domain authority through outreach, guest blogging, and partnerships.Technical SEO : Ensure proper site indexing, crawlability, mobile optimization, and page speed improvements.Perform keyword research and stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms to maintain competitive rankings.Social Media Management
Create and schedule posts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok and Twitter.Track engagement metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance.Building brand, brand awareness, and improving social media brand awarenessLead Generation & Analytics
Implement social media and digital strategies that focus on lead generation and nurturing prospects through the sales funnel.Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (click-through rates, conversion rates, etc.).Use tools like Google Analytics to measure ROI and improve strategies.Email Marketing
Design and execute email marketing campaigns.Track open rates, click-through rates, and overall engagement.Utilize HubSpot to create, automate, and manage email workflows for lead nurturing and customer retention.Collaboration
Coordinate with the Sales team to understand goals and expectations.Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
Proven work experience (3+ years) in digital marketing, social media management, or a similar role.
Experience with marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC campaigns, and web analytics.
Hands-on experience with major digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook / Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Wix).
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign).
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and community engagement strategies.
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are an advantage.
