JOB FUNCTIONS: 1.Prepares the design detailed plans, procurement request and other necessary documents relative to infrastructure projects, building maintenance and repair works; 2.Prepares complete detailed engineering design, project proposals, detailed estimates, technical specifications, PERT/CPM/S – Curve and other documents necessary for bidding requirements and implementations of the civil works project. The design shall be in accordance with the latest Philippines Building Code, Sanitary and Electrical Codes, Environmental Requirements and Accessibility Law; 3.Assists in the project presentations, public biddings and other meetings related to civil/mechanical/electrical projects; 4.Assists in the filing the required documents to secure approval of government authorities having jurisdiction over the design of the Project particularly Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC), Zoning Permit, building permit right away, etc.; 5.Conducts site inspection during civil/mechanical/electrical projects and make sure that contractors work is in accordance with the approved plans and specifications; 6.Provides technical assistance to DSWD Field Offices, intermediaries and stakeholders related to facility maintenance and civil/mechanical/electrical projects; 7.Reviews/Checks inspection reports and provide technical advice to ensure that the project implementation is in accordance with the approved contract agreement; 8.Reviews and recommends to the Department the Contractor’s requests for payment, time extension, and variation orders whenever applicable; 9.Recommends final completion and acceptance of the civil/mechanical/electrical projects and prepare Certificate of Completion; 10.Assist the Head of Office in the implementation of civil/mechanical/electrical projects building maintenance and repair works; 11.Assists in the development/enhancement of Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, guidelines, systems and processes relative to facility maintenance; 12.Prepares training materials, communications, presentation, briefer, reports/ updates and other documentation related to activities of the office; 13.Assists in coordinating with concerned offices, government agencies and other private entities related to meetings and other activities concerning facility structures of the Department; 14.Assist in planning and preparation of reports for the Office; and, 15.Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Head of the Office and supervisor.
