Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team at the earliest opportunity in the role of Sales Director Eastern Europe (m / f / d) .

Location : Remote | Reporting to : Managing Director Central Europe

Responsibilities

As Sales Director Eastern Europe, you will be responsible for leading and growing our business across eight countries in the region (including Poland, Croatia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Slovenia). You will manage a team of 13 sales professionals and play a key role in shaping and executing our regional sales strategy.

As a key leader within Össur’s Eastern European operations, you will drive regional growth by shaping and executing our commercial strategy. This role focuses on expanding our market presence through the introduction of innovative prosthetic and orthotic solutions, while strengthening relationships with healthcare professionals, partners, and institutions. You will be responsible for the profitable development of both existing and new product lines, ensuring alignment with Össur’s global mission of improving people’s mobility.

You will lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. By leveraging your deep market knowledge and strategic insight, you will influence cross-functional initiatives and contribute to the long-term success of Össur in Poland and the broader Eastern European region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in MedTech or healthcare
  • Proven leadership experience, including developing and coaching managers
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and networking skills across all levels
  • Fluent in English; additional Eastern European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel more than 50% within the region
