The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and administration of assigned properties to ensure their optimal condition, profitability, and tenant satisfaction. This role involves coordinating property maintenance, managing budgets, handling tenant relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Supervise the day-to-day operations of assigned properties to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
2. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with engineering and housekeeping teams.
3. Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with standards.
4. Oversee contractors and service providers for repairs, renovations, and capital projects.
5. Serve as the main point of contact for tenants and property owners.
6. Address tenant inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
7. Manage lease administration, renewals, and move-in / move-out processes.
8. Foster positive relationships to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
9. Prepare and manage property budgets, including operating expenses and capital expenditures.
10. Monitor rental collections, delinquency reports, and other financial transactions.
11. Prepare financial and operational reports for management review.
12. Identify cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality
13. Ensure compliance with local government regulations, building codes, and company policies.
14. Monitor safety procedures and ensure that all facilities meet health, fire, and environmental standards.
15. Coordinate with security and safety personnel to maintain a secure environment.
16. Maintain updated property records, contracts, permits, and tenant files.
17. Prepare regular operational and occupancy reports.
18. Participate in strategic planning and improvement initiatives for property services.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in property or facilities management.
3. Strong knowledge of property operations, maintenance procedures, and leasing practices.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficient in MS Office and property management software.
6. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
