Oracle PL / SQL Database Developer (47662) - BGC, Taguig

Required Experience :

SKILLS BASE :

Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server and Oracle

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL

Extensive knowledge of Oracle PL / SQL

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services

Deep understanding of query execution plans

EXPERIENCE :

Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development using SQL

Minimum 5+ years in administrating transactional RDBS systems in high load environments

Minimum 3+ years of working with RDBMS systems handling greater then 100 GB

RESPONSIBILITIES :

DATABASE ADMINISTRATION

Configure and maintain MS SQL Server and Oracle databases for development and quality control

Perform upgrades, backups, restores and performance tuning

Implement and manage database security, including user roles and privileges

Monitor database health and resolve issues proactively

Support and guidance teams to ensure efficient database operations and troubleshooting.

SQL DEVELOPMENT

Design and develop stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.

Collaborate with application developers to integrate database logic into applications.

QUALITY CONTROL

Design and perform functional, performance and integration tests

Identifying potential risks and issues that could impact product delivery, developing risk mitigation plans, and implementing appropriate measures to minimize risks.

Timely escalation of risks and issues that affect systems quality.

DOCUMENTATION AND COMPLIANCE

Maintain detailed documentation of database structures, configurations, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

TRAINING AND SUPPORT

assist with setup / troubleshooting SQL / Oracle databases

Share best practices and knowledge on database setup, configuration, and maintenance to enhance team capabilities and performance.
