Cost Analyst & Design Engineer

Job Description :

We are seeking a Cost Analyst & Design Engineer for the Switchgear Industry. The role involves monitoring and controlling production costs, preparing accurate budget forecasts, analyzing data, and recommending process improvements. Candidates must be located outside NCR. Salary : ₱20,000–₱22,000 plus free food, housing, and other benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Cost Monitoring & Control – Prepare, review, and monitor cost estimates for switchgear production, assemblies, and related components.

Budgeting & Forecasting – Provide accurate cost projections for tenders, bids, and client proposals.

Data Analysis & Reporting – Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management.

Process Improvement – Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement departments to optimize cost efficiency.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, preferably in switchgear, electrical equipment, or heavy machinery.

inimum 2–3 years experience as Cost Analyst, Cost Accountant, or similar role in manufacturing.

Experience in electrical switchgear, power distribution, or related manufacturing is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies :

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Excel (tables, formulas, financial modeling).

Good communication skills for cross-department coordination.

Ability to interpret engineering and production data in relation to costing.

Problem-solving mindset with focus on cost reduction and process efficiency.
