The Medical Case Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between patients, attorneys, and medical providers following auto-related personal injury accidents. This role involves managing treatment funding requests, coordinating ongoing medical care, and ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Communicate with patients, attorneys, and medical providers via phone, email, and text.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to facilitate case coordination.
- Review case details to assess and approve treatment funding requests.
- Ensure appropriate medical care and funding support based on case underwriting.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Uphold confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) and ethical decision-making in all tasks.
Requirements
Experience in medical case management, insurance, or legal support.Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient data confidentiality.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Willingness to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).High school diploma or equivalent.System and Work Setup Requirements :
