Key responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records and billing information, answering phones, handling administrative tasks, and assisting with basic patient care like taking vital signs. Key Responsibilities
Patient Management :
Greeting and checking in patients.
Scheduling, confirming, and managing appointments.
Processing patient intake, including verifying insurance and collecting co-payments.
Managing patient check-out and discharge paperwork.
Administrative Tasks :
Answering phones, responding to inquiries, and handling calls and messages.
Maintaining and updating patient medical records and electronic health systems.
Processing insurance claims and managing billing information.
Managing inventory of medical supplies and maintaining an organized reception area.
Clinical Support :
Assisting with basic clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs.
Helping prepare examination rooms and potentially assisting with procedures.
Providing basic patient education and resources.
Communication & Coordination :
