Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description Quality assurance (QA) specialists develop and execute software testing plans and procedures.

A QA specialist is responsible for catching, documenting, and reporting bugs and coding errors to the software development team.

They are required to be adept in the development environment, database management, and component-specific software and languages.

Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to identify software problems and their causes Document software issues using a bug tracking system Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness Report bugs or defects to software developers for correction Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, or content Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, designs, schedules, or potential problems Monitor debugging process results Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Requirements Must : Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree, Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering (Others) or equivalent.

At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases Plus : Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing Hands-on experience with automated testing tools Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development process Experience with performance and / or security testing Requirements Must : Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree, Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
