Inventory Management : Overseeing and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring proper storage, and inspecting goods for quality and damage.
Shipment Coordination : Planning, organizing, and executing the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, including arranging transportation and managing delivery timelines.
Vendor and Carrier Management : Liaising with suppliers, carriers, and other third parties to negotiate rates, establish contracts, and resolve issues.
Documentation and Reporting : Preparing and maintaining shipment records, paperwork, digital databases, and providing regular updates on logistics performance.
Supply Chain Optimization : Analyzing logistics data to identify areas for improvement, developing strategies to enhance efficiency, and ensuring smooth operations.
Compliance and Safety : Ensuring all logistics operations adhere to relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and legal requirements.
Problem Solving : Addressing and resolving logistical challenges, disruptions, and customer complaints to keep goods moving.
