POSITION SUMMARY :
Part of the global marketing center of excellence this role is responsible for the design of animated static and interactive multimedia. The digital design role can provide visual solutions to marketing communication needs and to apply the branding language consistently across different formats. This role will be handle complex projects help ensure strong brand compliance is applied on all graphic assets released and will work closely with other design colleagues to help innovate processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Content CreationDevelop compelling interactive content that satisfies strategic objectives for internal clients across a range of products thought leadership and other use cases. Design paid media animated banners static and animated social media interactive infographics and micro-content for the Vertiv website.
Create illustrations and diagrams to explain concepts difficult to convey by other means. Provide digital files for web site and other placements.BrandStrive to provide creative accurate projects per published graphic design standards within the time frame requested. Find a balance between brand consistency and effective communication.
CollaborationStore source files and finished collateral in the designated repository for publishing and archiving ensuring other marketers can leverage the efforts. Adhere to standard best practices and ensure compliance with file handling practices within the graphic designers in the brand and reputation COE.
WorkflowTrack projects and tasks using the Vertiv marketing collaboration system (Wrike); provide timely updates to stakeholders and management.
QUALIFICATIONS :
3 or more years of general design experience.2-3 years of experience specializing in interactive and visual design.General Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.Experience creating and exporting animated HTML web banners using Adobe Animate or Adobe After Effects.Understanding of file size optimization for web design.Understanding of design principles and how to apply them.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.Knowledge of interaction design and user-centered experience design including the fundamentals of information architecture hierarchy and layout.The ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate as a team.Excellent organizational skills an ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail.Strong communication skills working with clients and colleagues.Additional / Preferred Qualifications :
Ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly capable of presenting visual projects to the leadership team.Can conduct need finding sessions to guide the organization regarding graphic design and visual communication needs.Can organize multiple tasks and possesses strong organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.Strong team effort mentality.The successful candidate will embrace Vertivs Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
