Job Summary
The position is primarily responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure and servers, supports end-users as well as services clients. Responsible for the overall engineering and 24x7 support operations.
Job Description
I. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Network support of trading system desktop applications.
- Attends to telephone inquiries and support requests on matters concerning the trading system application configuration, installation, and other technical concerns.
- Provide technical support to employees for computer applications (Email, Helpdesk, OS, and Desktop Software Applications), network and telecommunications-related concerns.
- Maintain and support the Wi-Fi connectivity of clients and employees.
- Maintain and support Cisco Switches and Routers, Cisco Voice Gateways and Call Managers, and other Network Equipment and Servers.
- Maintain and support the Microsoft Active Directory.
- Provide assistance to Telcos and clients on connectivity and cabling requirements.
- Monitoring and maintenance of PSE’s Network Operation Center and Colocated Data Centers.
- Supervises the Network Administrator and Network Specialists.
- Responsible for R&D and Technology reviews.
- Provide Technical Trainings to team members.
- Perform network architecture reviews and develop detailed engineering design and deployment plans.
- Identify the KRAs and accomplish the Performance Evaluation of Team members.
- Responsible for the budget planning and provision of Project Concepts.
- Assesses and recommends network requirements.
- Do other functions assigned by the Division Head.
II. Leadership Management
Oversees daily operations, allocates resources, and ensures that work is completed efficiently and effectively.Provides guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to help subordinates grow their skills and careers.Identifies challenges or conflicts within the team and makes informed decisions to resolve them.Ensures compliance with policies and procedures and manages risks related to the team’s operations.Performs risk oversight for the respective unit, including BU-level risk identification, assessment, treatment, monitoring, and reporting; incident management; and business continuity management.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or any related course.At least ten (10) years of work experience in related functions.Excellent knowledge of LAN / WAN, VLANs, VoIP, TCP / IP Fundamentals, and Structured Cabling.Excellent skills in computer installation and troubleshooting, network hardware and software, and advanced technical documentation.Preferably with Cisco CCNA education and certification.Excellent network analysis and troubleshooting skills.Excellent Server and Application analysis and troubleshooting skills.Advanced Project Management skills.Strong leadership qualities.Amenable to work on-site (BGC, Taguig).#J-18808-Ljbffr
