US General Accounting Professional

Job description :

The General Accounting Professional plays a vital role in the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong technical and analytical skills for problem solving and resolution of issues. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at a time is required. Responsibilities :

Oversee accounts payable and receivable

Prepare financial statements and analysis

Analyze financial reports

Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with US generally accepted accounting principles

Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close

Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes

Payroll processing

Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and stockholders

Maintain account balances and bank statements

Manage general ledger and assist month-end / year-end close processes

Research and analyze expense variances for company management

Qualifications :

4+ years' of professional US accounting experience

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Business Administration major in Accountancy or any Accounting related courses

Knowledge of different accounting software such as Quickbooks online, Netsuite or Sage Intacct preferred

CPA preferred
