Work Schedule : 9 PM - 6 AM PH Time

Work Location : 19th Floor, Octagon Centre, San Miguel Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City

Job Description

Build and lead NDS’s PH analytics function to transform traffic sensors, video / vision counts, GPS / GIS, and survey datasets into decision-ready insights for public agencies and engineering partners. You’ll own the analytics roadmap, reliability (tests / SLAs), and delivery to U.S. stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Own the analytics vision, OKRs, and roadmap; hire and mentor a PH team (Analysts, Analytics Engineer).
  • Establish data governance : metric dictionary, lineage, access policies, and quality SLAs (freshness, completeness, accuracy).

Data Platform & Quality

  • Design and maintain the warehouse + dbt models with automated tests; implement orchestration ( Airflow / Dagster / Prefect ).
  • Build robust ingest for traffic counters / video , GPS / GIS , and client files; manage schema evolution and cost / performance.
  • Implement monitoring for model tests, anomalies, and data drift; publish runbooks for incident response.

    • Analytics & Decision Support

  • Ship executive & client dashboards (volume, speed, O-D, before / after studies) and standardize KPI definitions.
  • Lead time-series / forecasting and experiment readouts; deliver QC analytics for field-collected data.
  • Partner with U.S. PMs / Ops / Engineering for scope, SLAs, and delivery windows aligned to the night shift.

    • Security & Compliance

  • Enforce privacy for any video / PII and manage access controls, audit trails, and compliance.

    • Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years in analytics / data science / analytics engineering; 3+ years leading a team.
  • Expert SQL (window functions, tuning) and strong Python (pandas / NumPy).
  • Hands-on with dbt and a cloud DWH ( BigQuery / Snowflake / Redshift ).
  • Time-series & anomaly detection; strong BI ( Looker / Power BI / Metabase ).
  • Geo / GIS exposure (PostGIS, BigQuery GIS, QGIS) and experience with sensor / video or large telemetry datasets.

    • Nice-to-Haves

  • Computer-vision pipeline familiarity (video counting / QA), Amplitude / Mixpanel, Spark / Databricks, or ML forecasting (Prophet / ARIMA).
  • Transportation / traffic domain experience; client-facing delivery with public agencies.
