Job Summary:
Responsible for the global end-to-end (E2E) process design in the area of General Ledger Accounting plus E2E closing processes to improve business outcomes. As a process manager/owner, you define and further develop and optimize process steps, roles and responsibilities, tools.
Job Description:
- Takes care of the General Ledger processes with Inventory Accounting being one focus area, and related tools that are design and implemented accroding to requirements laid out in the company's global accounting guidelines and procedures
- Ensure transparency and meaasurement of assign process area by defining process performance KPI
- Ensure consistent and high-quality documentation existing and up-to-date for the assigned E2E processes
- Process improvements, automation and innovation is driven continuously in close alignment with Operational Teams (mainly but not limited to Shared Service Center) and other stakeholders, such as our Robotics Process Automation Team
- Ensure sustainability in usage of standard priocesses and following of standard structures defined in global ERP systems in close alignment within own Process Management Department as well as Project Management and realted IT departments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field
- With at least 7-10 years work experience in Finance and accounting area
- Solid knowledge and experience with General Ledger and Balance Sheet Accounting
- Solid knowledge in process and reporting, end-to-end closing process experience
- Knowldege in SAP FI is required, other modules like CO, SD & MM and cross module dependencies are a strong plus
- Solid knowledge of IFRS accounting standards (or UK/US GAAP)
- Hands-on experience in Inventory Accounting is a strong plus
- Proactive mindset, analytical and structural thinking with high motivation to drive optimization, harmonization and process definition
- Ability to drive changes & continuous improvement across operative and project-related Finance-functions and related departments
- Ability and collaborative spirit towork in an international team, also remotely, across several global locations and timezones
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance several on-going tasks simultaneously
- High degree of stakeholder focus, with the ability to understand their interest. With good stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English
- Amenable to work mid-shift
