Profile of the Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Release Co-Ordinator – Infrastructure Operations Support with strong technical, communication and administration skills. Your primary role will be working with various global, project, development, application and production support teams to implement all manner of changes and releases involving SQL, Biztalk, WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and Certificate Renewals.
You will be the key operations team member executing production changes with all Application Support and Development Teams, validating requests and ensuring coverage for on call support.
What You Will Do
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Attend punctual walkthrough and placeholders for every production deployment.
- Understanding of database schemas, indexing, and transactional integrity.
- Accomplish tasks using ITSM - change, release, problem and incident management.
- Analyze existing SQL queries and database implementations for performance improvements and perform tuning and optimization as necessary.
- Ensure the performance, security, and availability of databases, implementing robust security protocols and compliance measures.
- Handle common database procedures such as upgrades, backups, recovery, and data migration.
- Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to integrate database solutions and resolve issues.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database architectures, processes, and specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Administrative & Troubleshooting knowledge of one or more of the abovementioned technologies.Proven IT track record, with hands-on software development or production infrastructure / operations role.Self-starter; needs little administrative guidance.Excellent understanding of SQL programming and database management systems (., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).Familiarity / Knowledge in Service Now, Middleware, Biztalk, WAS and Certificate Installations.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Must be able to follow instructions thoroughly.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Must be able to support during weekend and holidays via on-calls.Self-starter; needs little administrative guidance.Ability to work independently and on a team with colleagues across the globe.Ability to self-learn new technologies.A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is often preferred.What You Will Bring Foundational Skills :
