Work Set-up : Permanent WFH

Work Schedule : Night Shift (10pm - 7am Philippine Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Bilingual (English-Spanish) Customs Specialist with a strong background in international commerce, particularly in the food and beverage industry. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in the import / export of perishable goods and passionate about global logistics and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage all aspects of international import / export operations.

Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, FSIS, etc.).

Coordinate multimodal logistics under time-sensitive conditions (e.g., cold chain, urgent air freight).

Prepare and review trade documentation (invoices, bills of lading, permits).

Build and maintain relationships with vendors, brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.

Collaborate with legal, QA, procurement, and warehouse teams for seamless border clearance.

Monitor trade agreements, tariff updates, and restrictions.

Oversee customs clearance and classification to minimize duty exposure.

Support audits and inspections for regulatory authorities.

Drive process improvements and digital transformation using ERP, TMS, or GTS systems.

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, International Business, or related field.

Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, international shipping terms, and customs procedures.

High attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills in logistics.

Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).

Ability to manage time and perform under pressure in critical logistics scenarios.

Proven ability to collaborate across departments and international teams

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience in the food and beverage industry, especially with perishable goods.

Familiarity with trade software and platforms (ERP, TMS, GTS).

Experience with international sanitary compliance and cold chain logistics.

Knowledge of global food safety and labeling regulations.
