Job descriptionEnsures compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements Leads external audit processes and coordinate with auditors and regulatory agencies Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to drive financial analysis and decision-making Develops and implements robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls across the Company and its affiliates Identifies opportunities to improve financial processes and drive operational efficiencies General Accounting & Financial Reporting Manages the general ledger, month-end and year-end closing processes Ensures timely and accurate reporting of financial performance to executive leadership and the board Financial Planning & Budgeting Prepares timely and accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Monitors financial performance against the budget and identify variances for corrective actions Supports strategic planning through financial analysis and projections Cash Flow & Treasury Management Manages banking relationships, fund disbursements, and investment strategies People Management Fosters a culture of accountability, accuracy and continuous improvement Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field CPA or equivalent professional certification Minimum 5+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in any industry. B2B industry experience will be an advantage Knowledge of Philippine financial regulations and tax compliance Audit firm experience, an advantage Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar) Expert knowledge of financial reporting standards Strong experience with budgeting and forecasting tools Legal right to work in the Philippines Ability to pass background checks and financial screenings Valid professional licences as required by regulatory bodies
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides strategic financial leadership and oversight to the Finance and Accounting Team
- Controllership & Internal Controls
Establishes and maintains a strong internal control environment to safeguard the Company and its affiliates’ assets
Oversees the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with relevant standards
Supervises the development of the annual budget and periodic forecasting
Oversees cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure operational needs are met
Leads, mentors, and develops the accounting and finance teams
