Job descriptionAttention to details Basic knowledge in excel. Organizational and time management skills. Communication skills. Financial Reporting : Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements. Record Keeping : Manage and update general ledger accounts, journal entries, and other financial records. Account Reconciliation : Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable / receivable to ensure accuracy. Month / Year-End Close : Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes. Auditing : Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits. Compliance : Ensure all financial transactions and documentation comply with internal policies, and relevant regulations. Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist with preparing budget forecasts and financial projections. Tax and Payments : Help compute taxes and prepare tax returns, and ensure timely bank payments. Data Analysis : Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions. Confidentiality : Maintain the privacy of all financial records and conduct database backups when necessary.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in general accounting or audit.
- Strong knowledge of BIR regulations and local tax compliance.
- Familiarity with government regulatory requirements (BIR, SEC, LGU, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality in handling sensitive documents.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
