Principal Electrical Engineer

Overview

Join Jacobs as Principal Electrical Engineer in Mandaluyong, National Capital Region, Philippines. You’ll lead and deliver consultancy services in Electrical Engineering across HV, LV and Control discipline services, applying experience in Power Utilities, Resources, Rail, Water, Defence, Industrial and Renewable Power sectors. This role provides the opportunity to work alongside design team members in the United States to produce detailed design documents and perform construction phase engineering services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead and provide technical inputs to support business development and project delivery
• Develop Electrical Engineering opportunities and coordinate teams to deliver Energy and Power Services in various Cross Sectors
• Be an Infrastructure Power Representative linking into the Energy and Power Generation Business to coordinate and support major bids and project delivery and support the strategic development of Infrastructure Power to lead multi discipline EPCM in future
• Lead and coordinate feasibility assessments, design and construction support services in accordance with Jacobs’ systems and processes
• Support Project Managers and Clients to manage project risk, deliver on HSE requirements and drive quality assurance
• Consider and plan resource requirements to meet project pipeline expectations and collaborate with Team and Section leaders
• Participate and promote resource sharing opportunities across the global business
• Provide project reports and progress statements
• Act as a trusted adviser for clients and ensure delivery on time and on budget through strong technical skills
• Mentor and develop other engineers to grow Jacobs offering in areas of specialty
• Demonstrate leadership and actively support the achievement of growth targets in sales and revenue through client interaction, proposals and team leadership
