DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop a Guidance Program in accordance with SFS and the Academic Department’s
objectives
Delivers the different guidance services such as counseling, testing, inventory,information, placement, evaluation and research, and group guidance as needed by the
students
Prepare intervention programs for students who have been referred to the GuidanceCenter for further assessments and evaluation
Prepare yearly guidance modules that regularly meet the needs and concerns of thestudent body
Evaluate students’ abilities and interests through aptitude assessments and interviewsAdminister psychological tests to students and other school personnel as the needarises
Identifies school issues that affect students’ academic performanceCollaborates with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student issuesConducts learning seminars or brainstorming sessions on school-related issues andcareer planning
Ensure updated information / report of each student are on file and in the CentralizedStudent Database or existing database system in place
Assist the Admissions Office in administering entrance examinations and group testingRefers possible cases of mental health disorders to partner psychological clinicsQUALIFICATIONS : Must Haves :
Graduate of a bachelor's degree in psychology with a master's degree in GuidanceCounseling
Guidance and Counseling and / or at least 3-5 years of immersive experience in differentguidance and counseling services, such as testing, placement,
counseling, and research in the tertiary levelWorking knowledge in utilizing operations and innovations to handle the scale of a growingpopulation
Must possess strong relationship-building and communication skillsMust possess strong database management, research, critical thinking, and leadershipskills
Must have the ability to operate within a wide range of student backgrounds andpersonalities
Excellent command of the English Language (both written and verbal)Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skillsIndependent and a self-starter with a strong focus on student developmentAmenable to work during SaturdaysNice to Have :
