Our Enterprise Data Office team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of AI, ML, Platform Engineering Head .

In this role you will provide strategic leadership and operational management of the Banks Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) platforms, engineering pipelines, and data platform services to ensure resilience, performance, and scalability. You will own platform strategy across DevOps, MLOps, and DataOps, govern SLAs and infrastructure reliability, and drive secure, compliant adoption of AI/ML technologies in collaboration with governance, risk, IT, and regulatory teams.

What the role will entail

• Provide executive leadership by defining the vision, roadmap, and execution of platform and ML engineering to accelerate AI/ML maturity.
• Develop and implement AI/ML platform strategy by architecting scalable, secure, and governed environments supporting the full ML lifecycle.
• Oversee enterprise platform operations including SLA compliance, incident management, and performance monitoring across Databricks and related environments.
• Drive engineering excellence and automation by championing CI/CD, observability, and self-healing systems to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.
• Engage stakeholders and cross-functional teams by liaising with Technology, Risk, Infrastructure, and Data Science units to ensure aligned delivery and regulatory readiness.
• Support compliance and operational stability by resolving infrastructure issues, maintaining monitoring protocols, and participating in audits and regulatory reviews.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent; postgraduate studies (MS, MBA) in Technology Management or AI/ML preferred.
• Preferred credentials include Cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS), ML Engineering (Databricks, TensorFlow, MLflow), DevOps (CKA, Terraform, Jenkins), with ITIL or COBIT awareness for operational rigor.
• 12 – 15 years in technology leadership roles, including at least 5 years in senior/executive management; direct experience managing cloud-based data/ML platforms, engineering teams, and operations in regulated industries (preferably banking).
• Deep expertise in AI/ML infrastructure, model lifecycle, and cloud-native architectures; proven delivery of enterprise-grade MLOps and DataOps systems; strong knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, Databricks, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability tooling, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., BSP, ISO 27001).
• Expert-level communication, collaboration, critical thinking, responsibility, results focus, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and innovation; advanced capability in customer focus, empowering talents, and building a sustainable culture.
