Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in our P2P and local markets. This role involves market research, strategy development for P2P merchants, cross-functional collaboration, and dispute resolution support for local P2P transactions. Remote work is available for candidates based in Malaysia or the Philippines.

What you'll do

  • Conduct market research and analysis for the local P2P business, monitor competitors, activities, and local regulations.
  • Develop strategies to attract and expand P2P merchants, improve local P2P liquidity and pricing.
  • Collaborate with operations and user growth teams to plan and execute activities, and increase local P2P user traffic.
  • Work with the customer service team to resolve local disputes related to P2P transactions.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in finance, banking, marketing, or risk management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of business development experience, ideally in financial payments or cryptocurrency. Solid understanding of cryptocurrency; growth hacking experience is a plus.
  • Experience in P2P and OTC business development is preferred.
  • Familiar with the local crypto user growth ecosystem, with priority given to KOLs, merchants, projects, and community resources.
  • Proficiency in English and local language, with strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, high sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, a positive attitude, and willingness to take on challenges.
  • Previous experience as a P2P merchant is highly preferred.
  • Remote – Open to candidates based in Malaysia / Philippines.
