Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field 3–5 years of hands-on Python development experience Minimum 2 years of experience in web scraping Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JavaScript, JSON / XML Proficiency with Git and version control systems Experience working directly with overseas clients Familiarity with Agile methodologies Bonus : Experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js Bonus : Exposure to Jira and Jenkins Excellent communication skills in English
Location : Makati City
Work Arrangement : Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
Shift : 12 : 00 PM – 9 : 00 PM (occasional client calls may extend hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated web scraping solutions and data pipelines
- Build scalable systems for data collection, processing, and storage
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify efficient technical approaches
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Ensure continuity and quality in data collection processes
- Participate in process improvements and infrastructure enhancements
- Support production tasks such as database and server cleanup
- Contribute to team metrics and reporting
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager
