Job description

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or any related field

2. 5 years of experience in Market Research

3. Experience from a research company is a plus

4. Proven Market Research Analysis with experience on Statistical Data Analysis and interview techniques

5. Adequate knowledge of Data Collection Methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc.)

6. Good interpersonal skills with strong written and oral communication and presentation skills

7. Excellent in organizational skills, accuracy and attention to details

8. Strong Analytical and critical thinking with creative and problem-solving skills

9. Has the ability to interpret large amounts of data, to multi-task and meet deadline

10. Has the ability to motivate and empower the Research Team

11. Results-oriented with strong analytical skills

12. Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

13. Must be flexible to work extended and weekend hours

Role Purpose / Job Summary :

1. Collect data on customers, competitors, industry, market location and situation,

consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations.

2. Identify Market and Sales trends, provide analysis and make recommendations for

improvement of products and services.

3. Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences.

4. Research and compile data related to current product market, customer demographics and interest, and factors influencing product demand; analyzes results to identify ways of maximizing sales and market penetration of current products.

5. Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it.

6. Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls.

7. Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis.

8. Identify potential new products or markets through research.

9. Forecast and track industry marketing and sales trends based on collected data.

10. Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing / business models, sales and methods of operation.

11. Summarize and analyze data; make recommendations related to research findings.

12. Report findings, complete with graphs illustrating data and written text explaining complex findings.

13. Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data are accurate and complete.

14. Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties’ researches and implement best practices.
