Regulatory Compliance :

Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements before market release in various countries / regions.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international regulations related to cosmetics (e.g., Cosmetics Regulation, FDA regulations etc.).

Conduct regular audits of internal processes and products to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Product Registration & Documentation :

Prepare and submit regulatory filings for product approval, including safety data, ingredient compliance, claims substantiation, and labeling.

Maintain accurate regulatory files for products and ensure product formulations are compliant with country-specific regulations.

Handle product registrations, renewals, and updates with regulatory agencies.

Labeling & Claims Review :

Oversee the review and approval of product labeling to ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including ingredient lists, claims, and warnings.

Work closely with marketing and product development teams to ensure advertising and claims are substantiated and meet regulatory standards.

Regulatory Strategy and Risk Management :

Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure that new products comply with relevant regulations from the concept phase through development and post-market surveillance.

Evaluate potential regulatory risks associated with product ingredients, claims, and manufacturing processes, and propose mitigation strategies.

Regulatory Intelligence & Updates :

Monitor global regulatory trends and provide timely updates to senior management and cross-functional teams.

Develop strategies to ensure products remain compliant with evolving regulations.

Liaison with Regulatory Bodies :

Act as the primary point of contact with local and international regulatory agencies.

Respond to regulatory inquiries and product recalls or safety issues, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
