Position : Deduction Analyst - Remote

Work Set-up : Permanent WFH

Work Schedule : Night Shift (10pm - 7am Philippine Time)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Deduction Analyst to join our remote team. This role is critical in managing customer deductions and chargebacks, ensuring accurate claim processing, and improving recovery rates. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain clean deduction aging and support trade promotion accuracy.

Key Responsibilities :

Investigate and resolve customer deductions (pricing, shortages, returns, trade promotions, chargebacks).

Validate claims using supporting documents (POs, PODs / BOLs, invoices, contracts, TPM deals).

Determine claim disposition (valid / invalid / partial) and code reasons accurately.

Prepare and submit dispute packages via retailer portals (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kroger, Amazon).

Track and recover invalid claims, including negotiation when needed.

Match deductions to authorized trade events and collaborate with Sales / TPM teams.

Communicate with Sales and customers to resolve promotional discrepancies.

Index payments and documentation into Doc-Link.

Maintain weekly deduction reports for Sales Managers.

Enter deduction data into AFS system.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.

Associate’s Degree or 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Basic accounting knowledge and ability to read accounting reports.

Familiarity with debits, credits, and deduction processing.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience working with retailer portals (e.g., Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart).

Knowledge of trade promotions and TPM systems.

Ability to interpret business publications, technical procedures, and regulations.

Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
