Job descriptionPlan and execute internal audits across various departments and operational areas. Review financial records, operational procedures, and systems for accuracy and efficiency. Identify and report any discrepancies, weaknesses, or potential risks in internal processes. Recommend improvements to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency. Prepare audit reports with findings and suggested action plans. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions. Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices. Assist in the development and review of internal audit procedures and frameworks. Liaise with external auditors and support audit activities as required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 years or above experience as an Internal Auditor or in a similar role
- Experience in an importing and / or distribution environment is a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, risk management, and internal control systems
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and objectivity
