Job description

Handles Planning for Warehouses / Transportation, Sales / Business Development and Vendor Management (Trucking)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.

Work Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or contract logistics operations.
  • Strong background in warehousing, distribution, transportation, and inventory management.
  • Prior experience in managing client contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and KPIs.
  • Proven track record in leading teams and managing large-scale operations / projects.

    • Technical & Industry Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of contract logistics (warehousing, order fulfillment, value-added services, and last-mile delivery).
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies for process improvement.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, and health & safety standards.

  • Leadership & People Management – ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Client Relationship Management – experience handling client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, and managing expectations.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving – ability to interpret data and drive efficiency.
  • Project Management – skilled in planning, executing, and monitoring logistics projects.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management – ability to manage SLAs, costs, and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent Communication Skills – written and verbal, for internal teams and external clients.
