We’re looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our client's growing team. You’ll manage the core estimating functions—developing comprehensive project estimates, analyzing tender documents, and coordinating with subcontractors—while ensuring every bid is precise and aligned with our client's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Bid Management
Plan, develop, and oversee all aspects of the estimating and pre-construction process from initial bid review to subcontract finalization.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of tender drawings , identifying key design considerations, construction challenges, and value engineering opportunities.
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates covering all project costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor bids.
Coordinate and present complex bids to management and clients , clearly articulating the project scope, timeline, and cost structure.
Ensure the accurate and seamless transfer of project information to the Project Management team upon a successful bid.
Data & Subcontractor Management
Develop and maintain the Master Tender List , ensuring all bid opportunities are tracked and prioritized.
Cultivate and manage strong relationships with subcontractors , building a reliable network of partners for various project needs.
Maintain an organized and accurate database of project costs, supplier pricing, and historical bid data for future reference.
Coordination & Client Relations
Collaborate with internal teams, architects, and engineers to ensure bids are comprehensive, competitive, and accurate.
Serve as a key point of contact during the pre-construction phase, utilizing excellent client presentation and subcontractor negotiation abilities .
Ensure all bid documentation is clear, professional, and aligned with company and industry standards.
Tools & Technology
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) for cost tracking, data analysis, and bid preparation.
Leverage estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in the bidding process.
Analysis & Reporting
Track and analyze market trends, material costs, and competitive developments in the construction industry to inform bidding strategies.
Report regularly on bid status, project pipelines, and cost analyses to senior management.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on post-bid analysis to continuously improve the estimating process.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Progressive experience in construction estimating, with a strong track record of managing complex bids from strategy to submission.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build and manage complex spreadsheets for cost tracking, data analysis, and bid preparation.
Deep understanding of the pre-construction process, tender analysis, strategic bid development, and subcontractor coordination.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to interpret technical drawings, assess construction methodologies, and accurately evaluate costs.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction industry standards, contractual terms, and market conditions.
Strong client presentation and negotiation skills , with experience interfacing effectively with clients, management, and subcontractors.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and tight deadlines simultaneously.
An exceptional attention to detail , ensuring every estimate is thoroughly reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
A degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is highly preferred.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills Education / Background : Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field required. Design Experience : 2+ years of hands-on experience in an interior design support or design execution role. Technical Expertise : Strong in CAD drafting (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar). Proficiency in space planning and design detailing. Familiarity with 3D rendering tools (preferred). Creative Skills : Skilled in developing mood boards and visual storytelling. Strong eye for aesthetics, balance, and functionality in design. Presentation & Communication : Proficient in Canva and PowerPoint for design presentations. Extremely eloquent and strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English. Ability to present ideas confidently with executive presence. Professional Attributes : Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven. Creative problem solver with flexibility and resourcefulness.
